GPS GeoTagging feature is configurable using the UI configuration screen or using command line arguments.

The GPS format is configurable.
Image Properties
If a fix is obtained, the coordinates are embedded on the image properties.
This makes it possible for GeoTagging aware software to determine the location of the captured photo.
